Hello, everyone! My name is Ziyada Callender, the owner of Crown x Glory Inc., a brand that’s changing the way YOU think about hats.

I remember the moment it hit me. Another cold Canadian winter, another cute hat that just couldn’t fit over my twist out. I was tired of squeezing my hair into styles that didn’t feel like me just to stay warm. And honestly, I was even more tired of choosing between protecting my hair and expressing my style.

I started Crown x Glory Inc. to fill a gap in the market for inclusive, protective, and stylish headwear that truly celebrates diversity in hair textures and experiences. As a Black woman — and as someone who has walked through a cancer journey — I became even more aware of how fragile hair can be and how deeply tied it is to identity and confidence. That experience strengthened my commitment to create satin-lined hats that protect delicate strands while empowering wearers to feel seen, beautiful, and confident.

What motivates me is impact — building a brand that promotes representation, resilience, and wellness. Crown x Glory is not just about fashion; it’s about self-care, awareness, and empowerment. I’m driven to use this platform to bring visibility not only to Black hair care, but also to those navigating hair loss and sensitivity during cancer treatment — creating community through compassion, inclusion, and innovation.

Crown & Glory is more than a brand. It's a celebration of the way we wear our hair, the way we take up space, and the way we show up — confidently, comfortably, and completely ourselves.
