I remember the moment it hit me. Another cold Canadian winter, another cute hat that just couldn’t fit over my twist out. I was tired of squeezing my hair into styles that didn’t feel like me just to stay warm. And honestly, I was even more tired of choosing between protecting my hair and expressing my style. That’s how Crown & Glory began.

As a Black woman who’s worn every hairstyle under the sun — from blowouts to braids, puffs to protective styles — I created this brand to fill a gap I knew too many of us were navigating. But this isn’t just about me. It’s about all of us. Whether your hair is curly, coily, wavy, straight, thick, fine, relaxed, or natural, you deserve a hat that fits your look and your lifestyle.
